Rest

My dear boy – my friend,

You have been home for some days now and it must feel wonderful – but perhaps a little bit scary. I hope you have managed to get some rest, because I think you need that right now. Rest from prison life … rest from the media circus … rest from the public, but also some rest from your own thoughts.

With your lovely family and friends around you, perhaps you will be able to pretend (at least for short moments) that everything is normal – that everything is alright. These moments will be longer and longer and suddenly you have learned how to live your life WITH your scars. I long for this day to come!

Soon the appeal will begin and I am praying for a miracle. My wish is that everything will be going your way – to your advantage. That you will get restoration and the empathy you deserve. It’s time for the wind to turn now – it’s time for you to get some downwind, my boy!

You are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you my son!

With much love

Through All

Hi Oscar,

I am in UK – 39 year female. I’ve been watching you all through the trauma and behind you and thinking of you all the way. Hope house arrest is going ok.

Be Patient

Dear Oscar,

I am relieved and happy that you are finally home, where you belong, in the loving arms of your wonderful family. It will take time for you to adjust to being home, be patient with yourself, take each day as it comes, one step at a time. I hope you can begin to start healing Oscar, now that you are home. All you need to do at this moment in time, is to breathe, relax, and get lots of rest. The love in your heart, will be the light that guides you through your darkest moments.

I came across this quote the other day, which I thought it was perfect for you Oscar.

Much love and blessings

Blessing

May the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, bless you and keep you strong during this time of testing.
May He cause His face to shine upon you and give you grace to endure with patience.
May He lift up His countenance upon you to make you perfect and complete in Him, to establish you clearly in the direction He gives you, to strengthen you through spiritual knowledge and by the power of His Holy Spirit as you seek Him with all your heart.
May the Lord settle you, making you secure and confident in His love and provision for your peace and well-being.
